About Us

We are a team of cricket journalists, analysts, and lifelong fans building India's most comprehensive and trustworthy cricket content platform — covering every score, every story, and every stat that matters.

Who We Are

Ball & Boundaries was founded in 2022 by a group of cricket-obsessed journalists and data enthusiasts who felt that Indian cricket fans deserved better than generic aggregators and recycled press releases. We set out to build something different — a platform that combines the speed of a news desk, the rigour of a data lab, and the voice of people who genuinely care about the game.

Today, Ball & Boundaries reaches over 50,000 monthly readers across India and the cricket diaspora worldwide. Our coverage spans IPL, international fixtures, domestic tournaments, and the full spectrum of cricket formats. Every article is written by a human, every stat is verified at source, and every opinion is backed by evidence.

We are proudly independent. We take no funding from cricket boards, betting companies, or franchise-linked entities. Our only obligation is to our readers and to the game itself.

Founded by Fans, Run by Fans

Every person on the Ball & Boundaries team has grown up watching cricket. We know what it feels like to stay up until 2 AM for a Test match, to argue about selection decisions, and to feel the gut-punch of a last-over loss. That lived experience shapes everything we publish.

We don't write for algorithms or advertisers. We write for the fan who wants to understand the game more deeply — and enjoy it more because of that understanding.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make cricket journalism faster, deeper, and more honest. We believe cricket fans in India have been underserved by both the speed-first tabloid approach and the slow, inaccessible world of traditional sports writing. Ball & Boundaries exists in the space between — delivering information quickly without sacrificing accuracy, and telling stories in full without padding them with noise.

We are committed to covering women's cricket with the same depth and prominence as men's cricket. We believe the Women's IPL, the ICC Women's events, and domestic women's tournaments deserve proper analysis, not afterthought coverage, and we are actively building that into our editorial calendar.

Long-term, we want to be the platform that a cricketer's child reads to understand their parent's career, that a coach references to prepare for an opponent, and that a fan bookmarks because it's simply the best place on the internet to read about cricket.

Editorial Independence

We are not affiliated with any cricket board, franchise, or betting platform. Our editorial decisions are made solely by our team, based on what is most useful and accurate for our readers.

Accuracy First

Every statistic we publish is sourced from official scorecards and verified databases. We correct errors publicly and promptly. Our credibility depends on getting facts right.

Always On

Cricket doesn't stop at 6 PM, and neither do we. Our team monitors fixtures, news feeds, and official channels around the clock to ensure our readers are never behind on a story that matters.

Meet the Team

Ball & Boundaries is run by a small, dedicated team who bring professional expertise and genuine passion to every piece of content we produce.

Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Arjun has spent over a decade at the intersection of sports and journalism. A former sports desk editor at a leading national daily, he founded Ball & Boundaries with a singular vision — to build a cricket platform that treats fans as intelligent readers, not just click-bait consumers. He oversees all editorial decisions, sets the tone for coverage, and personally reviews every major feature before it goes live. When he's not editing, you'll find him rewatching Sachin's 2003 World Cup innings.

Lead Content Writer

Priya brings a rare combination of cricketing knowledge and narrative flair to Ball & Boundaries. She has covered three IPL seasons, two ICC World Cups, and dozens of bilateral series for various sports publications. Her player profiles are widely shared for their depth and accuracy, and her match previews are a staple for fans preparing for big games. Priya believes that behind every stat is a story waiting to be told — and she makes sure it gets told well.

Data & Stats Analyst

Rahul is the analytical engine behind Ball & Boundaries. With a background in applied mathematics and a lifelong obsession with cricket data, he builds the models and pipelines that power our stats pages, win-probability trackers, and player comparison tools. He has a particular interest in T20 batting strike rates and the evolving role of spin bowling in modern Test cricket. Rahul's data visualisations have been cited by several sports journalists and podcasters across India.

Social Media & Community

Sneha manages the voice of Ball & Boundaries across every platform. She has grown our social media community from zero to tens of thousands of engaged cricket fans in under two years — through sharp real-time commentary, interactive polls, and a genuine conversation-first approach. She coordinates our live-thread coverage during matches, manages reader submissions, and works closely with Arjun on newsletter strategy. Sneha is also our resident advocate for women's cricket coverage.

What We Cover

Our coverage is broad but never shallow. Every section of Ball & Boundaries is built with dedicated editorial attention and updated continuously.

IPL Coverage

From the opening auction to the final delivery, we cover every IPL season in its entirety. Our IPL section includes live scores, match reports, points table, team-by-team breakdowns, player performance trackers, and daily columns from our editorial team. We don't just report results — we analyse trends, turning points, and what each match means for the playoff race.

International Cricket

Ball & Boundaries covers all three formats — Test, ODI, and T20I — across every major cricket nation. Whether it's a five-day Test at Lord's, a tense bilateral ODI series in South Africa, or a T20I tri-series in the Caribbean, our team delivers previews, live updates, scorecards, and post-match analysis for every fixture that matters to Indian cricket fans.

Player Stats & Records

Our stats section is built for fans who want more than just career averages. Dive into head-to-head records, performance by venue, batting position analysis, bowling economy in death overs, and historical comparisons across eras. Our data team updates player profiles after every match and adds contextual commentary to help readers interpret what the numbers actually mean.

Cricket Articles & Opinion

We publish long-form articles, opinion columns, and feature pieces that go beyond the match result. Topics range from tactical deep-dives and selector debates to historical retrospectives and interviews. Our writers are given the space to develop arguments fully — no listicles, no filler — just genuine cricket writing that respects the reader's time and intelligence.

Cricket Records & Milestones

Every time a player reaches a landmark — a hundred Test wickets, a maiden double century, or a new IPL run-scoring record — we document it with full historical context. Our records database is searchable and regularly updated, covering individual and team records across all formats and competitions, going back to the earliest days of international cricket.

Breaking News & Updates

Speed matters in cricket news. Injury updates, squad announcements, pitch reports, toss results, and official statements — our news desk monitors all major cricket boards, official channels, and verified journalists around the clock. We verify before we publish, which means when you read something on Ball & Boundaries, you can trust it.

Have Questions or Suggestions?

We genuinely want to hear from our readers — whether it's a factual correction, a story suggestion, a partnership enquiry, or just feedback on what we're doing well and what we could do better. Every message is read by a real person.
